I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California, specializing in Adult Mental Health and Wellness. As an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW), my passion is guiding clients through life's complexities with compassionate, trauma-informed care.

My therapeutic approach blends evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and expressive arts therapy. As an artist and therapist, I deeply value creativity, self-expression, and mindful exploration as powerful tools for resilience and personal growth.

At Smart Counseling, my goal is to deliver holistic, culturally responsive therapy, particularly honoring the mental health journeys of underserved populations, veterans, cancer patients, and individuals recovering from trauma. My dedication stems from both personal and professional experiences, including my advocacy within the Filipino-American community and my deep familial ties to those who have faced life's profound challenges, such as my grandfather, a WWII veteran and POW.

My mission is to cultivate a nurturing, creative, and empowering therapeutic space where clients feel supported in rewriting expired narratives, overcoming barriers, and embracing transformative change.
