I am a bilingual Registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor. I speak Spanish fluently. I received my Master’s from Capella University. I also have my certification in Addiction Counseling. I have worked with individuals, couples, and families, and the ages have ranged from 4 years old to 65 years old.
My experience thus far has been gained from working with individuals and families impacted by addiction; children, adolescents, adults, and families who have experienced or have been affected by sexual assault, as well as school-based therapy for children, adolescents, and families. The list of theories I most closely align with is not exhaustive, but it includes trauma-focused cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered, and the comprehensive resource model. I believe in implementing various techniques and strategies that are unique to each individual, as everyone is so distinctly different and has their own needs.
I aim to provide a space where you can find understanding and honesty, and never feel judged. I look forward to being a part of your mental health journey.
